Seacliff Home Inspections

Complete Home Inspection

Delivering Total Peace Of Mind
Want to know everything about your new home? A Complete Home Inspection by Seacliff Inspections is a great first step. This is a visual inspection where all the house systems from the roof to the crawlspace are examined and/or tested to verify proper operation, installation and safety. You are invited to join me while we explore your new dream home together.

We inspect the roof, exterior, structure, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, interior and insulation of the house. We will open and close all the doors and windows. We run all the faucets and flush the toilets. We look for evidence of leaks in the roof and basement, and identify any potential moisture problems.

The inspection takes approximately two to three hours. During this time, you will receive an informal guided tour of the property with comments on our findings or limitations. The inspection is both interactive and educational. You can ask as many questions as you like during this time. It's also a good opportunity to learn about routine maintenance requirements and expectations. Increasingly, home buyers are finding that this inspection is a good way to learn all about their new home.

Start By Making An Informed Decision
Every inspection performed by Seacliff Inspections is an examination of over 1500 possible problem areas in a typical home. It is important to remember that no home is perfect. That being said, not every small problem with a home will be identified. Cosmetic issues are generally subjective and are not reported on. Though some minor defects will be identified, the inspection is intended to document areas of major concern or expense. Every roof will eventually need to be replaced. Every furnace or air conditioner will eventually need repair or replacement. Every basement will leak given the right conditions. At Seacliff Inspections, we strive to identify those items which are defective, or near the end of their useful life, so you can budget accordingly.

A Seacliff Inspections' report does not pass or fail a home. It is impossible for us to understand all your reasons for wanting to purchase a particular home. In the end, it is a subjective and personal decision. It is our intention to provide you with the information you need to make that decision an informed one.
